[程序员] iPhone 耳机弹窗的定制化表情显示是如何实现的？

发现：
在官网买的 airpods 可以在外壳镌刻拟我表情，emoji 或文字。
打开耳机时，手机弹窗也会显示此表情或文字。

疑问：
1.手机上的弹框中的表情和文字是怎么实现的呢?
2.难道每个定制耳机出厂时重新编译烧录一版软件？ （我的理解是定制图像的这部区域，需要单独烧写进去，手机软件才能同步显示）那这样定制款工作量远大于非定制版的生产工作量?
是我猜想的这样吗？求各位大佬解答一下疑惑~
