[宽带症候群] 为什么是 5M？

浏览过往的贴子时，会发现有长城宽带出去是 5M 的说法，联通也有贴子。

我好奇用自己的电信商业宽带在 speedtest 测试了下，上传最高也是 5M 。

为什么？为什么是 5M ？为什么不是 1M 、2M 、10M ？跨越长城的 5M ？
